Woodbridge Academy of Music (WAM) is a private educational institution. The school opened its doors to young students and adults in 1991. Since then experienced teachers, all holding Master’s degrees or PhD in music, offer instructions to hundreds of students.

 

We are located in Metuchen NJ. The school has an open enrollment policy and our students primarily come from teh surrounding areas of Woodbridge, Edison, Rahway, Iselin and Plainfield.

 

We are proud of what we have achieved over these years. Many of our students won prestigious competitions and awards. Many violin students successfully auditioned and played in regional and all state orchestras. Some of our former students entered prestigious music colleges.

 

WAM has something that no other institution can offer. Highly educated musicians with long creative performing and teaching careers, using extensive individual method of tutoring, based on personal capability of every student. This kind of guidance lets all our students get control over instrument with maximum results and minimum practicing time. Learning plans are tailor designed specifically for them to help them achieving their goals.

 

Every classroom in our academy has two pianos, that help piano teachers fully to demonstrate learning pieces to students, bringing more diversity and fun during the lesson. This also enables us to teach two students at the same time. This is a new feature of the academy – one private lesson for two piano players.
